Materials: Yarn: Drops Big Merino 18/ Drops Lima 0705/5610
Big Merino 18: 50g/100g/100g/100g
Small amount of Drops lima yarn for leaf and apple stem
Needles: 40cm/16 inches 5mm circular needle, 4.5mm dpn
Tension: 17sts, 22 rows
Sizes: 6-12 months / 1-3 / 4-10 / 11-18 years old

Finished hat circumstance: 38cm Suitable for head circumstance around 43cm
Curling Hat Edge：German Twisted casted on 64 sts. Purl one round, and knit a few rounds to reach 4cm. Place a stitch marker, the hat measures from here.
Continue knitting in rounds until you reach 12.5 cm.
Hat decrease: Decrease in rounds, switch to 5mm dpns when necessary. Break yarn and thread the yarn, pull it through the rest 14sts. The hat measures around 25cm in length.
♥♥ Apple Leaf ♥♥ With drops lima 0705 and 4.5mm dpns, cast on 3sts to knit flat. Increase Part : Rnd1: Purl all Rnd2: Knit 1, yo, knit 1, yo, knit 1. (5sts) Rnd3: Purl all Rnd4: Knit 2, yo, knit 1, yo, knit 2. (7sts) Rnd5: Purl all Rnd6: Knit 3, yo, knit 1, yo, knit 3. (9sts) Rnd7: Purl all Rnd8: Knit 4, yo, knit 1, yo, knit 4. (11sts) Please make sure to knit yo twisted on the wrong side.
Decrease Part: Rnd1: Purl all Rnd2: Skp, knit until 2sts left, k2tog Repeat rnd 1 and 2 until 3sts left, stay on the right side. Purl the next row. For the last row, please do Sk2p, break yarn , weave in the tail.
♥♥ Apple Stem ♥♥ With drops lima 5610 and 4.5mm dpns, cast on 3sts to knit flat. Knit I-cord with 4 or 5 sts. The more sts, the thicker the apple stem will be. Knit it to 4cm and you can decide if it is long enough for your apple stem .
