For those who do not  like hats  in cold days,   I think a hand knitted headband  will work perfectly ! 
This classic twist headband is knitted flat back and forth and sewn the ends together  in the end. 
The pattern features 3 sizes  which are small kids/ big kids and adults .
 You can definitely get instant satisfaction from knitting  by knitting a small project.

Yarn: Drops Air 1 ball (50) for all sizes 
Needles: 40cm/16 inches circular needle for flat knitting 
Tension: 28sts, 28 rows in 1*1 ribs 
Sizes:  Small kids/ Big kids / Average Adult 
Finished size without stretch:  45cm/ 47cm/ 49cm
